Since Genesis chapter 2 mankind has faced an inevitable, seeming irreversible problem "you will surely die." And from that moment on the story of God and His creation is one of solving that problem we have created. God foreshadows, pre-figures, and prepares us to grasp the resurrection reality of Jesus when it arrives.  In a book full of miracles, this particular miracle on the first Easter stands out, singular in all of history. Let's celebrate today the reality that our God is a resurrecting God. He is faithful in His purpose to bring mankind from the kingdom of death into the kingdom of life.
