Welcome to the home of Lakeside Youth Ministry!

  

At Lakeside we have a thriving youth ministry serving the youth in Haliburton between the grades of 6-12. 

Lakeside Youth strives to provide a safe place for youth to feel part of a positive community where they can have fun spending time with their friends. We do this by providing weekly programs. It is also a core value that we Create opportunities for youth to use their talents to serve our community and to develop student leadership skills. It is our desire that while youth have fun and serve they also have time to Connect with God and explore for themselves what they believe and grow in their faith over their teen years.  We provide space for this during small group times and biweekly Jr Youth church on Sunday mornings.

 

Jr. Youth Grades 6-8 meet Tuesday from 3:30-6pm  in the basement of Lakeside Church. This includes snack and supper, fun games and events and small group discussions. 

Sr. Youth Grades 9-12 meets Wednesday from 4-8pm in the Lakeside Youth Lounge  (basement of the church office building- back parking lot). This includes hanging out playing games, supper and

 small group discussions. 

 

Throughout the year we also take our youth on retreats and many of our youth serve in our summer camp programs.
