Jesus pronounces over the cities of Korazin and Bethsaida "Woe unto you..." and at the same time then proclaims to the people gathered "Come unto me." The same Messiah, at the same moment, speaking two very different messages. How are these reconciled in the good news that He preached? How are they reconciled in the very nature of God? How does the same Jesus preach both woe and welcome, both judgement and salvation, at the same time? Which is Jesus speaking to you and me?
