Treasuring Christ: Three Implications
True discipleship does not allow for small ambitions or shallow affections. The treasure the man found in a field (Matthew 13:44) was worth joyfully selling all that he had. A treasure that valuable and a response that extreme must carry with it some implications for us who desire the same joy in receiving the same treasure. Today we consider three implications of considering the kingdom of heaven such a valuable treasure and what it means for our discipleship. We must exchange small ambitions for large, old authority for new, and lesser affections for greater.
