The Love Of The Son

God the Father loved us uniquely by initiating His plan to satisfy his perfect justice by offering Himself as a perfect sacrifice. It is because God first loved us, while we were still enemies, that the Father sent the Son (John 3:16) . God the Spirit loves us uniquely by dwelling with us and revealing the very depths of who God is (1 Corinthians 2:10). Now on Christmas Eve we look at the unique love of the Son, who expressed God’s love toward us by leaving heaven and entering creation in order to heal, cleans and redeem through His own suffering.
