We cannot change a person’s heart. We cannot absolve their sin, impart to them any grace, or offer them salvation. We cannot make anyone a disciple – only God can do that. To make disciples is an impossible mission for us. And yet in Matthew 28-18-20 this is the mission Jesus gives his church. Making disciples then, must be our possible mission impossible. How do we do it?
