Rejoice and Reform
We conclude our whirlwind tour through Nehemiah and our examination of the rebuilding and reformation of God’s exiled people. Just like Israel, our redemption and restoration begins in repentance, it results in rebuilding and revival, and it continues in rejoicing. But we are not meant to stop rejoicing, our satisfaction in who God is and what Christ has done is meant to continue. Our joy in Christ *is* the means of rebuilding and restoring the broken places of our lives, and to reach the people around us with the same redeeming hope we have found.
