As the saying begun by DL Moody goes “True character is revealed by what you do in the dark.” … or as it is popularly rephrased… “Your true character is what you do when no one is watching.”

And so this second discipline of private, secret, one-on-one time with God in personal prayer is one of the most reflective mirrors we can examine our faith with.
