One Ministry For Service
All through history, and all over the world when you find faithful Christians you find people engaged in service, or what we often call “ministry.” Christians run food banks, found orphanages, establish schools, bring clean water, teach agricultural or health practices, offer shelter to the abused; they build, help, teach, feed, care. Of course, not only Christians serve, but there is a uniqueness to a Christian’s doing, that comes from their being. As we continue our series examining 5 key Christian practices we consider what the motivation, power, and purpose of Christian service is. We hold scripture up as a mirror and consider how each of us personally is reflecting the image of our Christ-following faith.
