Joseph – Family Dysfunction

God’s chosen people are not exempt from inheriting and even continuing the flaws, sin, and dysfunction of their families. Yet God is still at work, even in sin, abuse and tragedy. The story of Joseph’s family is one of attempted murder and successful human trafficking, yet God’s story for that family is one of redemption and healing. God’s story is always over-writing our own, even in our sin and  tragedy. This week we come to understand how God can rewrite the story of our own lives, even if they begin in tragedy like Joseph’s.
