Guard The Good Deposit

500 years ago the reformation faced the pressure of a single monolithic religion that obscured the scriptures and claimed salvation must come through it’s church. Today, the same courage  of the reformation remains needed but because in our century we face just the opposite: A hundred interpretations of the gospel, of the atonement, of Christ, of justification, of salvation, and perhaps worse… a spirit of post modern relativism that says all of these “gospels” are as valid as any other. In his final letter, the Apostle Paul exhorts young Timothy to never be ashamed of or fear suffering for the one true gospel… the good deposit entrusted to us.
