Current Modpack File (Read below for install instructions)

General Information:

LakesideMC is a Custom Java Server for our Youth Community to join together and adventure into the unexplored world of Minecraft. This mod pack has 90+ mods configured to reinvent the Minecraft that many of us have enjoyed in past years. Read below for Installation Instructions of the Mods as well as important links to better understand how the game works.

For Parents:

Curious about Minecraft but do not know where to start? You can read this post from Common Sense Media or you can watch this tutorial video to get a better understanding of the game.

Gameplay Rules:

We have a couple Rules to ensure this gameplay is fair and fun for everyone:

1. Do not kill other players, especially players you do not know. If you want to battle someone or start a war with another group of players, make sure both sides agree to the terms and you can end the battle at anytime.
2. Do not steal from other players! If you find another base or colony while exploring, do not take their stuff or harm their colonists.
3. Do not destroy other players bases or creations! If you are found destroying or griefing other players builds, you will receive a temporary ban. Continue and you will receive a permanent ban.

Please, be kind to each other and play fair. Players who are not following these rules will be kicked/banned.

Install Instructions:

Download and Extract the Zip file from here

Run Forge installer jar file.

Install Client
Default Directory (It doesn’t matter what directory)

Install Minecraft Java (Free if you own Bedrock Edition already)

Open Minecraft Java Launcher

Change Installation version to 1.19.2 Forge-43.1.47 (left of “Play” button)
Click “Play”
Select Multiplayer
Server Name: Lakeside MC
Server Address: 142.44.255.134:25594
Server Resource: Enable
Click “Done”

Go back to main screen on Minecraft (With Singleplayer or Multiplayer options)

Click “Mods”
Click “Mods Folder”
Place the mod files from the “Copy these mod files” folder into the mods folder that was just opened
Close Minecraft

Reopen Minecraft

Play the Forge Installation version again
Select Multiplayer
Select “Lakeside MC” server from list
Game should load

Important Notes:

No building in the first 200 blocks from spawn (0,0)
Setting up a Colony will protect your area from other unwanted visitors
See the rule book in game at spawn
