Summary

The Apostle Paul has done a convincing job of arguing for the superiority of faith in Jesus over our human works of the Law or religion. his argument is so convincing, in fact, that it leaves an obvious question. What then was the purpose of the Law? If it could not make us righteous, why did God give the Law? In Galatians 3:19-29 Paul answers that question three ways. The Law is good and not without purpose, even for Christians on this side of the cross, it simply must be used correctly.
